Crystal's Headshot Sessions are thoughtfully crafted to provide a wide range of shots for to clearly represent you or characters you might play. Focused on capturing images from above the chest, she skillfully coaches you to showcase various facial expressions that reflect your unique personality. Session durations, ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours
Crystal's Branding Sessions are not your typical photoshoot—it's a vibrant experience! She captures a mix of looks, playing with diverse lighting, camera angles and backgrounds. These sessions, a minimum of 3 hours, cover everything from headshots to full-body shots, product shots and all the in between.
Picture this: you and Crystal reviewing images, narrowing down to the winning shots. The best part? You leave with those winners, and anything you don't like gets the delete treatment.This method ensures a focused selection process and serves as a coaching tool to enhance your presence in front of the camera. It's a professional experience designed for effective results. Get ready for an exciting session.
Very important:Crystal encourages you to overpack with multiple clothing changes, ensuring a range of options. She emphasizes that if you didn't pack it, it can't be shot. Session durations, ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours, are entirely tailored to your preferences, the number of looks desired, and the imagery you aim to acquire. At the grand finale of the session
At the grand finale of the session, you'll have the opportunity to choose the final images for purchase. Each selected image is priced at $35.00 covering unlimited licensing for personal use. Crystal provides complimentary professional retouching according to her specifications so hand pick your absolute favorites from the cream of the crop. Processed images are ready one week after full payment for the image purchase.

In our headshot sessions, we're all about getting up close and personal, capturing those killer expressions from the chest up. We take the reins on coaching, making sure you shine in every shot. Think of it as 100% us showing off our expertise. We'll guide you through, not just to snap awesome pics, but also to school you on the angles and expressions that make you look top-notch.
And guess what? We're not into the boring stuff. We play with background colors, switch up outfits, and sprinkle in some magic lighting. Check out our work – we've nailed headshot vibes that'll have you looking like a superstar.
Now, our Branding sessions, That's where the real party starts. We crank up the creativity, throw in some portraits alongside those headshots, and mix it all up with different backgrounds and lighting. You'll walk away with a whole arsenal of pics – everything you need to rock your personal brand. Let's make your photoshoot as vibrant and unique as you are!
About the Session
We will be capturing and reviewing the images together as we go. Inspecting the shots in this way helps us to determine their viability for your use. In doing so, we will be able to adjust the focus of the session to account for anything we feel you could additionally benefit from along the way.
Purchasing Images
After the shooting portion of the session is complete, we’ll sit down and review each shot that we’ve kept up to this point individually. After deleting the obvious shots that you won’t need we’ll hone in on the ones you’ll end up keeping. Throughout this process, we’ll be narrowing down your selection so you only depart with the best of the best. We consult our clients on things like expression, and what can and can’t be done in the retouch, as well as making sure you have a nice range of shots to utilize from your shoot. By the end, you’ll decide upon the images that you are going to purchase and they'll be retouched and delivered to you just a week after your shoot. Easy, right?
Clothing
We love it when clients bring a variety of clothing options – just remember, the golden rule is that you've got to love what you wear! If it doesn't make you feel comfortable, it probably won't translate well in the photos. Our advice? Bring an assortment of cuts, colors, and necklines to mix it up. For corporate clients, gentlemen, think about different jacket/shirt/tie combos, and ladies, consider a range of blouse/dress/jacket combinations.
Now, let's talk accessories. Keep it simple – studs or small earrings, and subtle necklaces. Avoid anything too chunky or attention-grabbing. Glasses? If you've got a collection, bring them along to check for glare.
Feeling a bit uncertain about an outfit? No worries, just bring it. Layers are fantastic,(especiallyfor actors) from t-shirts to light jackets – we're not limited by seasons here. And if you think your wardrobe needs a boost, go on a shopping spree! We'll keep the tags on, just in case you want to return something after the shoot. Don't stress about wrinkles; we've got a steamer in the studio to handle that for you. So, bring your style, have fun, and let's capture some fantastic shots!
Hair and Makeup
Women’s makeup:
Makeup isn't a must, but we highly recommend it for women. The makeup cost, as detailed above, covers both makeup and hair assistance. Our approach is tailored to our specific lighting, starting with a natural, clean look and adjusting as needed during the shoot. We're flexible – if you prefer a slightly heavier makeup style, just give us a heads up, and we'll make it happen. Your comfort and confidence are our priorities!
Women’s hair:
Come with your hair ready the way you'd like to be photographed – we want your pictures to reflect your fantastic hair day, not a bedhead look. Our makeup artist will ensure it's shoot-ready, discussing your preferences and creating a plan at the shoot's start. If you need a significant hair change or want to go from curly to straight, there might be an additional $50 charge for our hair and makeup artist to blow it out. Let's chat about it before your session so we're all on the same page.
Men:
We don’t recommend makeup on men, but our makeup artist can provide light grooming for skin and hair on the shoot if you like. Just inquire with us about pricing prior to your session. Our professional retouching usually covers any issues that may arise skin-wise, so there are no worries in that dept.
Facial Hair:
If you prefer to shoot with facial hair, come in with the level of growth you desire. We will photograph the scruff and, if needed, you can shave or trim it down during the session. Bring along your grooming products for any touch-ups you might need.
Scheduling and Payments
We're available for shooting Monday through Friday, typically scheduling 1-2 sessions a day starting around 10:15 am. While we're flexible with timing, please avoid scheduling anything important immediately after your shoot, in case we need a bit more time.
To secure a spot, a retainer, half payment of the session fee is required, which you can do online or by contacting the studio. Feel free to request a preferred time; we'll do our best to accommodate. If the listed times don't suit you, reach out – we're flexible and may even arrange an evening session if necessary. Other payments (image purchases, proofing galleries, and hair/makeup) can be settled on the day of the shoot.
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, Paypal/Venmo and Zelle. After the session you’ll pay the reminder of the session fee and be responsible for the images that you decide to purchase on the day of the shoot and hair/makeup if you have hired our stylist.
